TRANSLATING PRACTICE
Drawing up a hoisting diagram is rarely possible without a prior ‘site visit’. During the site visit, we will look at what space is available for the load/setup position of the crane/street furniture/base/logistic aspects. A hoisting diagram is based on a hoisting overview (see ‘HOISTING ADVICE’).
A fully elaborated hoisting diagram includes:
- Top and side view of the crane location including cranes, load, transport, hoisting route, obstacles
- Detailed diagram of the load
- Rigging plan for the load
- Wind calculation for the load
- All requisite crane data
